About Abby

Abby Bloch is a certified physician assistant who serves patients at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in Mankato. She is passionate about providing quality medical care and developing personal connections with each of her patients.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Abby then continued her education, gaining a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of North Dakota.

Abby grew up in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and loves that she has the opportunity to practice medicine in her beautiful home state. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, spending days on the lake, reading, and playing card games with friends. Above all, she loves adventuring with her husband, Chip, and taking weekend trips to see family.

About Amy

Amy has worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer with OFC since the fall of 2003. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from MSU, Mankato in 2003 and her Master of Arts degree in clinical exercise physiology from MSU, Mankato in 2009. She recently completed the training for the ImPACT Trained Athletic Training Program. She was the Certified Athletic Trainer at Mankato Loyola High School for 9 years and is now working at Maple River High School. She was a fill-in staff at Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault where she traveled with the girls hockey teams and boys soccer teams to national competitions. Amy is a Registered Athletic Trainer with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Amy is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association and the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association where she is on the Secondary School Committee. Amy is also a Preceptor for athletic training students at MSU, Mankato.

About Alison

Alison Huber is a certified physician assistant who serves patients at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic. She is a graduate of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, and she earned her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. 

Alison is originally from Minneapolis, she but enjoys being away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. She delights in traveling, exercising, and attempting to play piano. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son and their German shepherd.

About Randy

Randy has been an athletic trainer for The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic since 2005. A native of Owatonna, Minnesota, he earned a bachelor’s degree in health, physical education, and athletic training from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 1979. He later earned his master’s degree from the University of Houston in 1987.

Randy began his career in 1979, serving eight years as the athletic trainer at Memorial High School in Houston, Texas. He then served three years in the same capacity at James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. Since returning to Mankato in 1990, he has served as the athletic trainer working with South St. Paul, New Ulm, Mankato East, Mankato West, Maple River, St. Clair, Le Center, Cleveland, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High Schools. He has been the primary athletic trainer for Mankato West High School since 2005.

Randy’s experience also includes being a preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He also served as the athletic trainer for the Mankato MoonDogs baseball team for four seasons.

Randy and Rachel Palmer reside in North Mankato and have two adult children, Kyle and Allison, both of whom are graduates of Mankato West High School.

About David

In February 2020, David Roemhildt joined The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic (OFC) in Mankato as a physician assistant. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered care as a physician assistant. David works with patients in outpatient, inpatient, and perioperative settings. He assists in a wide variety of complex orthopedic surgeries in addition to personally performing small outpatient procedures.

David believes in developing personal relationships with patients so that they feel supported. “The connections I form with my patients here at OFC are special,” David says. “Having grown up in Mankato, the patients I serve are my friends, my neighbors, and my family. My goal is to educate and partner with my patients so they thoroughly understand their treatment options. I want them to feel confident to ask questions and share any concerns.”

David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology, summa cum laude, at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota. He then completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
    
Prior to joining OFC, David was focused on geriatric and palliative medicine in Mankato as a CNA. He is also a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants.

When David is not at OFC, he enjoys reading, board gaming, kettlebell training, hunting, and playing music on his piano, flute, or trumpet. He is married with one daughter.

About Brent

Brent Chambers is a Certified Physician Assistant who serves patients at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in Mankato. He achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and earned his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

He is passionate about working collaboratively with his patients and developing meaningful connections with those of the community. He takes pride in educating his patients, and ensuring they are well informed in the decision making process regarding their health.

Brent grew up in Princeton, Minnesota. He enjoys practicing medicine in the beautiful city of Mankato. In his free time, Brent enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as playing guitar, watching his favorite Minnesota sports teams, and spending time with his wife. Brent also wrestled for Augsburg University from 2016-2020, and was a part of the NCAA D3 National Championship team in 2019. Driven by a passion for health, movement, and performance, I'm a proud U.S. Veteran with a bachelor's degree in Public Health and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I'm currently pursuing my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification to further deepen my knowledge in human performance and athletic performance.

About Bryan

Bryan’s professional interests include working closely with the orthopaedic surgeon to perform robotically-assisted knee and hip replacement; patient specific instrumented anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement; sports medicine and arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repairs, labral and rotator cuff repairs; hand surgery; as well as orthopaedic trauma.

A native of Faribault, MN, Bryan, lives in Owatonna with his wife, Brandi, 4 kids and 2 goldendoodles. He previously worked as an athletic trainer in Faribault with the OFC and Rehab One, LLC covering high school sports and outpatient rehabilitation. He returns to OFC for a second tenure after a 17 year hiatus. In that time, he has returned to school and earned his Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies and has gained substantial experience with over 11 years of orthopaedics at Mayo Clinic in Owatonna, working primarily with Dr. Scott Perkinson. In his freetime, Bryan enjoys distance running, canoeing, woodworking, and playing cribbage with his wife, Brandi.
