About Dr. Allen
Dr. Scott Allen is a specialty-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions. Dr. Allen proudly serves patients in Mankato and St. Peter, Minnesota, and joined Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in 2021.
Originally from Mankato, Dr. Allen returned to the area after completing advanced training in orthopedic surgery through his residency training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Previously, he completed an undergraduate and graduate degree in athletic training at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Dr. Allen earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks.
For each of his patients, Dr. Allen’s goal is to provide individualized care to each patient. He strives to do this by learning about the patient as a whole person, and then collaborating with the patient to tailor their treatment plan to their unique goals for recovery. He enjoys using his expertise to help patients through their injury or problem so they can regain an independent, active, and healthy lifestyle. Dr. Allen provides expert treatment for a full range of orthopedic conditions, from fractures and sprains to arthritis and carpal tunnel.
