Landon Messner, Director of Strength & Performance at OFC’s Performance Lab

January 9, 2025 OFC announces the addition of Landon Messner as Director of Strength & Performance of the Performance Lab. His training programs are molded from his unique experience coaching the general population, high school students, and elite athletes at the college, professional, and USA levels.

Before joining OFC, Landon was the Director of Strength and Performance for Great Lakes Baseball Academy for four years. He oversaw all aspects of strength and human performance for Great Lakes athletes and the Minnesota Post Grad baseball team. In 2019, he worked at the University of Minnesota as an intern under their world-class performance staff, coaching and programming for elite athletes and learning what it takes to prepare for competition at the highest level. Prior to his time at the University of Minnesota, Landon coached high school athletes as the head strength and conditioning coach of both GFW High School and West Lutheran High School. He implemented Strength and Conditioning programs for football, volleyball, basketball, track, softball, and baseball at both schools.

Messner will lead programming at OFC's Performance Lab, which is scheduled to open this summer in conjunction with the practice's new expansion. The Performance Lab will offer a state-of-the-art facility where athletes, professionals, and active adults can unlock their full potential through cutting-edge, science-backed training. At the Performance Lab, we will train like your game is played or your life is lived—utilizing data to drive decision-making and address individual weaknesses, ensuring each program is tailored to the position and the individual.

“I’m excited to launch the Performance Lab at OFC and help clients achieve breakthroughs they didn’t think possible,” says Landon Messner, Director of Strength & Performance. “Our programs are built to transform how you move, compete, and recover—delivering real results through science and personalized coaching.”
