    Marc Felbrugge, ATC, ATR, CKTP

Marc is a Mankato native and graduate from Mankato East, class of ’77.  His college education, Bachelor of Science with a discipline in Athletic Training, is from Minnesota State University, Mankato, class of ’06.  He is also currently enrolled as a graduate student working toward a degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology at MNSU-Mankato.

He served 22 years with the United States Navy right out of high school and retired in 1999.  Service to country is where he developed a desire and passion to help people with physical limitations or restrictions due to injury or lack of motivation or information.  Assisting an injured, active person back to the sport or recreation that placed them in their current predicament of inactivity, is quite rewarding.

He says the best part of his life is his wife Sandra.  They have been married 35 years and were high school sweethearts.  They both love to boat and fish, and their children bring great joy and pride into their lives.  Time and occasion spent with family means a great deal to both of them.  Additional hobbies include: the construction of anything useful and functional from toy bikes to decks on the back of the house.

Marc loves to laugh, and believes that laughter is a good medicine for all.

Averie completed her undergraduate education at the Minnesota State University – Mankato and received a degree in Athletic Training. Immediately following her college graduation she began her career as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Edina High School. She LOVED it there working with football, cross country, boys basketball, hockey and track and field. Almost 2 years later, she made the transition to Twin Cities Orthopedics as a physician extender for Dr. Christopher Larson, who specialized in hip arthroscopy. Although it was difficult for her to leave the high school and all of her “kids” the transition was a great move. Her husband, Jeff, and she are originally from St. James and wanted to get back down there to be closer to our families. She currently lives here in Mankato along with her husband, Jeff, their son, Knoxyn and dog Cali.
